Same old wide angle + cokin blue grad. The mountain is called Kvitvola, and is situated near Engerdal, Norway.
Yeeaaah, that's what i'm talking about. I love these cold almost cyan-colored sky. It adds so much intensity and shows how cold that place must be.
I like the sky in this one.The different tones around the sun.Circles, they seem.It does however seem a tiny bit too bright still.I like the shadow the brush at front casts on the snow and has this blue/purple-ish tone.It gives it some sort of depth. The photo has an surreal feel to it.
I agree, it is a bit too bright. That's what you get for shooting straight into the sun, I guess. I couldn't get good contrast without having the sun a bit burnt out. The shadows is what caught me first as well. I wish the ski tracks were more visible, though they quickly got covered in snow.
Du finner ikke noe mer romantisk sted enn vidda.
Vidda i femten blå ftw.
so dreamy and romantic...lovely
Heh, it wasn't as romantic up there. Bloody freezing is what it was! The filter doesn't fit the wide angle lens, so I have to hold it with my hands, and thus I had to take my mittens off.. and it was around -15 and windy. Thanks though!
it's always great to know the reality behind images...nice job! I hate shooting with cold fingers!
Oh yeah, it's terrible. I imagine I would have gotten a lot better shots with warmer fingers. A lot of the time I just give up and go home, sadly. I get really stiff and sore fingers when they get cold too.
